Indian Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE)
ISHRAE stands for Indian Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers. ISHRAE is a national level body and ISHRAE PCE is included as one of it’s sub-chapter under Thane Chapter.ISHRAE includes both Students and Professionals as it’s members.
For the Mechanical and Automobile Engineers having just the theoretical knowledge is not enough. That’s why ISHRAE PCE provides it’s student members with Industrial visits and Internships to provide them required industrial exposure. ISHRAE also arranges Job Junction for 4th year student members to assist them in placements. During Job junction companies like Voltas, Bluestar and many other major HVAC giant companies contribute in recruitment process. ISHRAE also conducts various national level competitions like Aquest, ISPG, NSDC etc to encourage and bring out the skill sets of an engineer. As a social activity ISHRAE also conducts K12 program in which our student members visit school students and teach them for a day.
