Formula Student Germany’s “Formula Student Combustion” Event

Hyperions Team from Pillai College of Engineering is set to visit Germany end-July to participate in Formula Student Germany’s “Formula Student Combustion” Event. The competition was held in Hockenheim city from 29th July to 3rd August, 2014. Four engineering college teams competed with the best at a top competition in Germany, where the formula racing cars they build were put to the test.
Hyperions team leader Deepak Padmanabhan said they have sought the help of former professional car racers. “Keeping a simple model in mind, we have a strong base for the car and good technical support from our sponsors,” said Padmanabhan.
