PCE Students triumph at Westzone Universities Title for Mumbai University
Mr. Aditya Singh (3rd year Mechanical) and Mr. Sarvesh Rao (2nd year Electronics) students of PCE won the West Zone Universities Chess Championship (Men) team title for Mumbai University on 27th – 30th October, 2014. The Mumbai University team led by Aditya singh outplayed every universities coming under West Zone during the event held at Ahmedabad (Gujrat). Earlier in the trial of Mumbai University Aditya Singh Ranked No. 1 and Sarvesh Rao ranked No. 3 and selected in to the University of Mumbai team.
In the finals the Mumbai University team led by Aditya Singh beat Nagpur University in a match of eight round score (14 – 11).
