“कृत्रिम बुद्धिमता आधारित सायबर गुन्हे व त्यावरील प्रतिबंधक उपाययोजना” या विषयावर दोन दिवसीय मराठी (भाषेत) सेमिनार पिल्लई अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयात यशस्वीरीत्या पार पडला
न्यू पनवेल येथील पिल्लई अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालया (स्वायत्त) मधील संगणक अभियांत्रिकी विभागातर्फे एआयसीटीई–वाणी योजनेअंतर्गत “कृत्रिम बुद्धिमता संचालित सायबर गुन्हे व त्यावरील प्रतिबंधक उपाययोजना” या विषयावर दोन दिवसीय मराठी (भाषेत) सेमिनार ७ आणि ८ नोव्हेंबर २०२५ रोजी यशस्वीपणे आयोजित करण्यात आला. या सेमिनारमध्ये गूगल, कॅपजेमिनी, सी-डॅक, एसबीआय, आरएआयटी, आणि पिल्लई अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालया मधील तज्ज्ञांनी सहभाग घेतला. त्यांनी कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजन्स), सायबर सुरक्षा (सायबरसिक्युरिटी) आणि डिजिटल प्रशासन (डिजिटल गव्हर्नन्स) या क्षेत्रांतील नव्या घडामोडींवर आपले मौल्यवान विचार मांडले.
या परिसंवादाचे उद्घाटन श्री. दीपक सकोरे, अतिरिक्त पोलीस आयुक्त (गुन्हे शाखा), नवी मुंबई यांच्या हस्ते झाले, ज्यांनी कार्यक्रमाचे मुख्य अतिथी म्हणून उपस्थिती लावली. तसेच श्री. अजयकुमार लांडगे, सहाय्यक पोलीस आयुक्त (गुन्हे शाखा) हे विशिष्ट अतिथी म्हणून उपस्थित होते. दोन्ही मान्यवरांनी कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेची सायबर सुरक्षेतील वाढती भूमिका आणि आजच्या डिजिटल युगातील तिचे महत्त्व याबाबत आपले मौल्यवान विचार मांडले. आपल्या प्रेरणादायी उद्घाटनपर भाषणात त्यांनी प्रादेशिक भाषांमध्ये विशेषतः मराठीत प्रगत तंत्रज्ञानाचे शिक्षण आणि संवाद साधण्याचे महत्त्व अधोरेखित केले. त्यांनी सांगितले की भाषिक समावेशकतेमुळे डिजिटल अंतर कमी होते आणि अधिकाधिक लोकांना तंत्रज्ञानाच्या प्रगतीत सहभागी होण्याची संधी मिळते. तसेच त्यांनी एआयमुळे उद्योग क्षेत्रात घडत असलेल्या परिवर्तनांचा उल्लेख करत, एआय-आधारित सायबर धोक्यांबाबत जागरूकता आणि तयारी यांची गरज स्पष्ट केली.
दोन दिवस चाललेल्या या कार्यक्रमात एकूण आठ तज्ज्ञ-संचालित सत्रे झाली, ज्यामध्ये एआयची मूलभूत तत्त्वे, जनरेटिव्ह एआय, लार्ज लँग्वेज मॉडेल्स (एलएलएम्स), व्हिजन लँग्वेज मॉडेल्स (व्हीएलएम्स), सायबर वॉरफेअर (सायबर युद्ध), एआय-सहाय्यित सायबर गुन्हे, एआय-चालित सुरक्षा साधने आणि सुरक्षेसाठी एआयतील नैतिक प्रशासन (एथिकल गव्हर्नन्स) अशा महत्त्वाच्या विषयांचा समावेश होता. प्रत्येक सत्रात सिद्धांत आणि प्रत्यक्ष अनुभवाचा सुंदर संगम साधण्यात आला, तसेच वास्तविक उदाहरणे आणि प्रात्यक्षिके यांचाद्वारे सहभागींची समज अधिक दृढ करण्यात आली. विविध महाविद्यालयांतील प्राध्यापक आणि उद्योग क्षेत्रातील व्यावसायिक यांच्या उपस्थितीमुळे शैक्षणिक–औद्योगिक संवादाचे व्यासपीठ निर्माण झाले.
या सेमिनारचा विशेष आकर्षण म्हणजे मुंबईतील विविध सायबरक्राईम व कायदा अंमलबजावणी विभागांतील २५ पेक्षा अधिक पोलीस अधिकारी यांचा सक्रिय सहभाग होता . त्यांच्या सहभागामुळे चर्चांना व्यावहारिक दृष्टीकोन लाभला आणि शैक्षणिक संकल्पना व प्रत्यक्ष तपास कार्यप्रणाली यांच्यातील दुवा मजबूत झाला. या सत्रांद्वारे पोलीस अधिकाऱ्यांना एआय-सहाय्यित धोका शोध, फॉरेन्सिक विश्लेषण, आणि सायबर संरक्षण यंत्रणा याबद्दल सखोल ज्ञान मिळाले. शैक्षणिक संस्था आणि कायदा अंमलबजावणी यंत्रणा यांच्यातील ही सहकार्यात्मक उपक्रमामुळे मराठी भाषेत एआय शिक्षणाचे महत्त्व आणि सायबर सुरक्षा जनजागृती वाढवण्याची प्रभावी दिशा स्पष्ट झाली.
या सेमिनारचा आणखी एक महत्त्वाचा परिणाम म्हणजे “एआय-चालित सायबरक्राईम आणि त्याची प्रतिबंधक उपाययोजना” या नावाचे मराठी पुस्तक प्रकाशित करण्यात आले. हे पुस्तक पिल्लई अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयाचे प्राध्यापक आणि सेमिनारमधील तज्ज्ञ वक्ते यांच्या सहकार्याने लिहिले गेले आहे. यात सेमिनारमधील चर्चा, अनुभव, आणि व्यावहारिक दृष्टिकोन यांचे संकलन करण्यात आले असून, विद्यार्थी, शिक्षक आणि व्यावसायिकांसाठी हे एक मौल्यवान संदर्भग्रंथ ठरणार आहे.
समारोप सत्रात सहभागींनी मराठी भाषेत तांत्रिक विषयांचे सुलभ सादरीकरण केल्याबद्दल विशेष प्रशंसा व्यक्त केली. कार्यक्रमाला भाषिक सक्षमीकरण, तांत्रिक सर्वसमावेशकता, आणि औद्योगिक दृष्टीने उपयुक्त शिक्षणावर केंद्रित दृष्टिकोनासाठी उत्तम प्रतिसाद मिळाला. या सेमिनारचे समन्वयक डॉ. प्रशांत एस. लोखंडे आणि सह-समन्वयक डॉ. धीरज अमीन असून, संपूर्ण कार्यक्रमाचे मार्गदर्शन डॉ. संदीप जोशी, प्राचार्य, पिल्लई अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालया यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली करण्यात आले.
Two-Day Marathi Seminar on “AI-Powered Cybercrime and Its Prevention” Concludes Successfully at Pillai College of Engineering
The Department of Computer Engineering at Pillai College of Engineering (Autonomous), New Panvel, successfully organized a Two-Day Seminar in Marathi Language on the theme “AI-Powered Cybercrime and Its Prevention” under the AICTE-VAANI scheme on 7th and 8th November, 2025. The seminar brought together experts from Google, Capgemini, CDAC, SBI, RAIT, and Pillai College of Engineering who shared valuable insights on the rapidly evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on Cybersecurity and digital governance.
The seminar was inaugurated by Shri. Deepak Sakore, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), Navi Mumbai, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, and Shri. Ajaykumar Landage, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime), who attended as the Guest of Honour. Both dignitaries shared their insightful perspectives on the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in cybersecurity and its importance in today’s digital landscape. In his inspiring inaugural address, Shri. Deepak Sakore emphasized the importance of learning and communicating advanced technologies in regional languages like Marathi, underscoring how language inclusion helps bridge the digital divide and promotes wider participation in technological progress. He also highlighted the transformative impact of AI across industries and the need for awareness and preparedness to address AI-driven cyber threats.
Over two days, participants attended eight expert-led sessions covering key topics such as AI fundamentals, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision Language Models (VLMs), Cyber Warfare, AI-Assisted Cybercrimes, AI-Powered Security Tools, and Ethical Governance in AI for Security. The sessions offered a balanced blend of theory and practice, with real-world examples and demonstrations. Participants included faculties from various colleges and professionals from industries, ensuring a rich exchange of ideas between academia and industry experts.
A special highlight of the seminar was the active participation of over 25 police personnel from Mumbai, representing various cybercrime and law enforcement units. Their involvement added a practical dimension to the discussions, linking academic concepts with real-world cybercrime investigation practices. Through these sessions, the officers gained deeper insights into AI-assisted threat detection, forensic analysis, and cyber defense mechanisms. This collaboration between academia and law enforcement showcased how AI education in regional languages like Marathi can significantly enhance cybersecurity awareness and operational effectiveness among professionals serving on the frontlines of digital safety.
Another key outcome of the seminar was the launch of a book titled “AI-Powered Cybercrime and Its Prevention,” in Marathi language authored by faculty members from Pillai College of Engineering in collaboration with the seminar’s distinguished speakers. The book encapsulates key discussions, expert perspectives, and practical insights shared during the event, serving as a valuable reference for students, educators, and professionals interested in the intersection of AI and Cybersecurity.
The seminar concluded with a valedictory ceremony, where participants expressed appreciation for the initiative’s Marathi-language delivery, which made complex technical topics accessible and engaging. The event received highly positive feedback for its focus on regional language empowerment, technological inclusivity, and industry-oriented learning. The seminar was coordinated by Dr. Prashant S. Lokhande and co-coordinated by Dr. Dhiraj Amin, under the guidance of Dr. Sandeep Joshi, Principal, Pillai College of Engineering.
