Pillai College of Engineering has always promoted the various human arts. In a time where English dominates other languages, it was nice to see support for the Marathi. The event was organized on 27th February, 2019, where Principal Dr. S. M. Joshi and Dr. Sharvari Govilkar addresses the faculty and students. Dr. Joshi explained the history of Marathi Language and Dr. Sharvari Govilkar threw light on the importance of acquiring education in Marathi medium. Faculty members also shared their experiences explaining the importance of Marathi language. Students also narrated poem in Marathi.
